Now that the summer semester is getting so close to being over, I am beginning to panic. We have just over two weeks left! How is it that I began work three weeks early and I feel as if the class just started? I did not do a great job this semester planning my weekly to-do lists. The list looked so small and easy, but everything is taking so long. Just producing the pieces would have probably been fine, but what I did not realize is that gathering all of the items I need to produce the pieces is what would take so long.
I took 2 or 3 trips to crafts stores looking for items and just now found a couple. I also went on a hunt for plastic baggies for my grow kits, Matt just directed me to a website where I can find them. I need 3, lowest quantity is 1,000. Anyone need baggies?
I was hoping to have all of the pieces completed by this week and be onto working out the ideas for photographing my work for the book. I wanted to have two weeks for this so I could get ideas, sketch them out and then have a game plan for a day of shooting. I have not had time to get ideas down yet. Yikes.
Time-wise I am fine. I have three weeks off in between semesters and that is more than enough time to get everything done. I just REALLY wanted a break this semester because the fall is going to kick my ass. But I can’t complain, I have less than a year before school is done and when that day comes I will be sad to see it go.
Now off to listen to my running mix and bust out work!
