so long, week 9

This week went by fast and it was a good week. I am still focused and have motivation again, so that is keeping me in a good mood. On top of that my mom sent me flowers to help keep my spirits up (and possibly help keep me from dropping out and turning my life over to margarita's instead) It worked. I feel like it is the beginning of a semester with all this motivation, but the end is actually coming up fast. Usually at this time I begin to freak out because it seems as if I will never finish all the work in the remaining time. But I don't feel that way this week. Who knows what the next few will bring, but for now I am just living up this good feeling of being on top of things.

I enjoy the weeks that I comp up my sketched out ideas because I get to bring them to life. Then the refinements each week give me the ambition to want to keep going. It is really great to see another program pretty close to the final state. I think when I see all of my work finished and put in the environment illustrations, it will be really rewarding.

Educate (Little Farmers): This program will be put aside after I make some final refinements this week, but it is almost done now. It is coming along great and I can't wait to assemble all of the pieces. I need to get some of those iron on t-shirt application things and test them out. Then I begin my hard search for kids to wear them so I can have the actual shirt in my final presentation. How exactly do I go about asking people to let me photograph their kids? HA!

Sell: These items are the point-of-purchase food items found in City Farm. All of the food sold is grown in the building and is tagged and labeled for display. The main purpose is to give the shoppers all of the information they need so they can figure out what to buy. Do they have high blood pressure, diabetes or cholesterol? Then they can read about each food item and learn about their nutrients and what they do for their bodies. I am working on jarred foods, bread boxes, loose food boxes (like mushrooms), Food labels for apples, tomatoes and such, and tags for lettuce. The list could go on, but I need to graduate eventually.

I don't have much to post for images because I want to refine first. But, below are the t-shirts that are comped up from this past week. Next week, I will have refined work from educate and possibly some from sell also. Yay!
