Truckin' into week 9

I can't believe week 8 is over.

I feel like I spent a lot of time working on my project, but I don't have much to show for it because I needed to re-work a few things. Although I would rather not do that, it was all worth it. I feel that my work for the educate program is in line with the rest of my pieces and the sell program is getting there too.

Educate: Little Farmers: I have to do some refinements to the t-shirts this coming week. I got some new ideas and a good critique from my advisor for the shirts. It is going to work out to be a really nice system. I also need to refine the certificate, but that is closer to being done. The grow kit box is mostly done. The design looks better and I assembled it this weekend so I can see it close to its final state which is nice. Now that I finally have the box all worked out, I need to apply the design to the other pieces that go inside the grow kit. This program is becoming pretty involved, but also awesome!

Sell: City Farm food: The sell program is coming along really well too. I want to keep the design simple and let the food become the grand attraction. When you walk into the produce section of the grocery store, no item is heavily branded. It is just a sea of beautiful colors and fresh food. So, I want to be sure I carry the brand into all the pieces, but do so in a simple way. The idea behind the selling is to let the food sell itself by giving consumers the information they need for purchasing. The labels will let them know what nutrients are in the food and how that can help their body. I'm very excited to get the pieces mocked up this week.

I plan to have a lot of visuals for next week. Should have semi-final images of my educate program and also trial images of sell. Should be a week filled with supermarket, farm and food stand visits. Love it.

This post is pretty barren, so here are some images of pieces of the process...
